Where to Book a Speed Post at Midnight: The List of 24/7 Post Offices in AP & Telangana

One of my most frustrating complaints with the Postal Department has always been this: most post offices stop accepting Speed Post bookings far too early in the day.

In many sub-post offices, Speed Post booking closes around 3:00 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. Some head post offices keep the counter open till around 6:00 p.m. But for many of us, especially advocates, law offices, professionals, businesses, and people who work with deadlines, that timing is simply not enough.

As I entered Semester IV at my LLB program at PRRLC, I learned about Intellectual Property Law, and more specifically, Geographical Indications (GIs).

Fascinated by how local craftsmanship and agricultural uniqueness are protected under law, I performed a quick search and found the registered GIs in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Given the rich cultural heritage and agricultural diversity of these two Telugu states, it’s no surprise they boast a significant number of GIs ranging from mouth-watering foods to intricate handicrafts.
